A slic3r ("slicer") is generally a software that creates the instructions (.gcode) for printing in a 3D printer, or bioprinter. The name comes from the softwares function to slice a 3D model in horisontal in which the printer extrudes. Here, we can go through the different settings in the slic3r to optimize our print based on different factors.
